Iโ€™m a molecular and computational biologist focused on biomarker discovery and clinical translation of omics innovations. I developed Nano3P-seq and FIRST-seq technologies, securing over โ‚ฌ220,000 in competitive funding. I currently lead interdisciplinary research projects at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Spain.

Transcriptome-wide profiling using nanopore sequencing. Enables tail dynamics study in coding/noncoding RNA.

FIRST-seq

A novel cDNA nanopore-based sequencing method that allows sequencing first strand of nanopore cDNA libraries using various reverse-transcriptases. By combining this method with DMS probing, we explored its potential for RNA structure analysis.

RNA Modifications Detection

Direct RNA sequencing using nanopores for epitranscriptomic profiling. Results published in Nature Communications and Nature Biotechnology.
